feet of hope

February 5, 2012

Here sits 9 undergraduate pre-service inclusive childhood educators. They are reading research, they have written annotated bibliographies, and now their voices join together and they TALK with each other about what they are learning and how the pieces are connecting. I sat there with these 9 women and was amazed at the level of thinking and collaboration that I was able to witness and take part in.

These women and their willingness and determination to be effective and responsive inclusive educators and researchers brought thanksgiving to my heart today as they talked and planned together.

These feet represent hope.

These feet are and will continue to make their unique paths that will empower the inclusion of ALL learners in their classrooms.

These feet brought me joy, peace, and restoration today because of the hope they offer for ALL learners.

Today, I am thankful for these inclusive feet of hope.
